Sydney: Doyles

Went to Sydney on a business trip a couple of weeks ago. Was great to be down there again. It's been 7 years since I was last in Sydney - thought it felt slightly run down ... I've heard that there was massive investment for the olympics in 2000 --- but little investment since.

Had a fantastic meal in Doyle's seafood restaurant in Watson's Bay - bit of a tourist trap, but I love it! This was my first time back to Doyle's since our honeymoon nearly 14 years ago! Joss and I had a fab fish supper there -- to the backdrop of the lights of Sydney harbour.

Could not afford then to do what I did two weeks ago i.e. we got a harbour water taxi to take us back to the hotel in Darling. Out of this world experience zipping along past the opera house and under the famous bridge!
