VERY RARE: Sydney opera house gets a clean

This was an awesome event I was very privileged to see - it only happens every thirty years or so.

They built the opera house on a kind of suspended pneumatic bed. When the building looks a bit dirty, they raise the pneumatics, slide a massive boat underneath it, and ship the whole thing to a purpose-built cleaning shed just down the coast near Bondi.

Made the 'concorde-down-the-thames' affair look like a punt across the river.
