Chinese calligraphy sculpture

Calligraphy is an artform here that's for sure. I can see the attraction! But would not want to dedicate my life to it like e.g. the artist Qi Baishi ... he spent decades learning to perfect a few characters of the alphabet (In addition to perfecting the art of shrimp-painting in <6 brushstrokes).
